Our Profile
Paideia of Youth is a youth-driven nonprofit organization based in Jakarta, Indonesia, dedicated to improving education for less fortunate children. In Indonesia, 46 million children still struggle to access quality education due to economic limitations, unequal learning opportunities, and low quality facilities and infrastructure. Many students lack exposure to digital skills and creative learning—skills that are increasingly essential in today's world.
Paideia of Youth was founded to respond to these challenges. We believe that every child, regardless of their background, deserves the chance to learn, grow, and dream without limits. Through youth-led action, we aim to bridge educational gaps and bring meaningful, engaging learning directly to the children who need it most.
Our Story
Paideia of Youth was founded in 2019 by students who saw the educational inequalities faced by many of the children in Jakarta. Driven by the belief that small actions can spark a meaningful change, we began organizing free learning sessions to empower younger learners and support their dreams.
In 2025, we expanded our impact by launching three new programs designed to equip young learners with essential skills:
- WEB — introduces children to basic computer usage and digital literacy
- Global Citizens — lessons that broaden their understanding of the world and culture
- Science — hands on experiments and activities that spark curiosity and critical thinking
